Is a pre-owned Acura TL a good idea?

I like the Acura TL 3.2 TL type S 2002-2003 i also like 2004-2008 style TL are they good cars? what is the best year?

FWIW, the earlier generation TL's have had transmission problems. Don't know if they have rectified the problems in the newer ones though. Check some of the online forums (listed below) for more info.
