I have an arguement about oil level. This motor has (2) vertical oil filters, when the motor is operating you know the oil pressure will fill the filters. When you shut the motor down immediately, when checking the oil level it appears about 2qts. down.
Your making this a bit too diffucult for yourself. When you start the engine the oil is moved throughout into the oil galleys and through the valvetrain...everywhere oil is needed. When you shut down the engine the oil stays in the filters...thats why
