Is the alternator on a subaru legacy 250t the same as other subaru ones?

im pretty sure the alternator on my 250t is failing the battery only stays charged for a day and the lights are real dim when its getting down, was going to buy another good second hand alternator and put it in myself, are other subaru alternators ok

A few do but most don't. Call a dealer with the part number and ask them what models that part fits.
