The pin was stuck and I tried to loosen it with pliers but the whole pin has come out and now water is dribbling out. Can I get the pin to go back in? I have been trying. Professional knowledge please - not guesses! Thanks.
Put some liquid soap or vaseline on it and it will go back in to stop the leak.The pin is not the problem ,the valve is stuck on the seating.needs replacing.A good tip for the future is to leave the valves fully open during the summer then they cant
